All our photos are of wolves photographed in the wild. None of these wolf photos were shot under controlled conditions; nor was any baiting or artificial calls used. These photos are the result of many long hours in the field. It isn't uncommon for me to sit all day, day after day in a prime location and to come away with nothing. I am very proud to have captured photos of such magnificent, but elusive wild animals. These photos represent some of my most memorable moments in life.
Unfortunately, many of the wolf photos you see in magazines and in calendars are of animals held in captivity, often in game farms that cater to "wildlife" photographers. We have become so accustomed to seeing photos of game farm wolves, that wild ones will look skinny and unhealthy to the casual viewer. In truth, just the opposite is true.
