Private Photo Tours and Instruction

I am now available for private tours.  You pick the time, place and subjects, I’ll do the rest.  We can spend time in the field photographing some of my favorite locations where I can share insights on the light, animal behavior and photographic techniques.  Or we can spend time in the office going over workflow, color calibration and Photoshop.  It can be the basics with Photoshop, maybe learning to use curves and level in layers, or more advanced topics such as HDR, luminosity or saturation masks, or creating panoramics – you ask the questions, you decide what you want to learn.  We could even do a combination of office/field work.

I wish I had done something like this when I started out it would have saved me a ton of frustration along the way!  It took me years of reading, researching and trial and error to learn what I know know, let me teach you while you work on your own images. 

You could come to my home office, or I’ll go to yours. We could photograph Kenai Fjords or Moab, Utah, again, you decide. 

I won’t hold back, I will share anything and everything I know about photography and image processing.   I won’t share proprietary business information such as contact lists, and I won’t share SEO information. 

Although I’m based in Alaska, we do travel a fair amount.  My upcoming plans will have me in Southern California for the later part of February and early March, then to Phoenix and Tucson areas into March – this could provide the opportunity for private tours in these areas without the cost of flying me from Alaska.

COST
A private day cost $500 for the first person, plus actual expenses.  Additional photographers can be added for $200 per day.  Discounts are available for multi-day engagements.
