BALD EAGLE NEST PICTURES

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Bald Eagles build their nests in large trees near a river or coast.  Nests are generally about 5 feet in diameter but can become much larger as Eagles reuse their nest each year.   Nesting duties are shared by both the male and female with the incubation period lasting about 35 days.
